At Home Business Ideas For Teachers

Green anoles are native to the area of Charleston, SC?
My husband is a classroom teacher and last fall was required to make a CV of reptiles. He was sent 8 green anoles, all men. The class took over and studied them for several weeks. The project has been completed. It was suggested in the literature of the project send the children home with anoles are the parents' permission. These were the students of 4th. The care of these lizards is quite complex and has asked him home instead, fearing what would happen to them. I have read that these common green anoles are native to the eastern Carolinas. Is this true? I will go to Charleston, SC next week on a business trip and had the idea of taking the anoles there and release them in a remote area. Thank you for your information and opinion of this idea.
Carolininsis Anolis (spelling may not be in situ, but you get the idea) will be fine anywhere in the U.S. southeast, and is likely it does not matter if it's a remote area or not. If not for the Cuban Anoles running here in Florida, there would be much more green here, but even with a smaller number it used to be, they are all over my patio and everywhere. Just make sure that we are not letting the low temps. They're used to being in captivity and take time to adjust to their new environment and find a sheltered spot out of cold weather. Must be quite the opposite.
